Samira’s earliest relationship with fragrance was shaped by her mother. A woman who has lived with anosmia since birth. Each morning, her mother would ask Samira to choose her perfume for the day.
Not to smell it, but to decide how she wanted to move through the world.
That ritual taught her something lasting: fragrance is not about the nose.
It’s about intention. Presence. Identity.
Years later, after the loss of her father, scent once again became language. The leather of his chair. The amber that lingered beneath every cologne he wore.
These notes became more than memories, they became him.
L’Artisan was created so that presence would never fade.
